How to Overcome Loneliness?
Heb. 13:5b I will never leave thee or forsake thee.
John 14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.
You have three promises from Yahushua Messiah.
Loneliness is a sense of separation, to become disconnected, a fog, cloud, over powering feeling of being lost, anxiety.
Solitude on the other hand is a choice to be alone, to refresh, to not feel the burdens of others for a time.
The feeling of isolation even in a crowd is a destructive force over time. Rejection, disassociation, often the start of loneliness, to the end results, personnel destruction either mentally or physically, and even death.
Overcoming loneliness
- Confess your loneliness. Psalm 25:16-17; Psalm 102:4-8;
- Enter into a relationship with Yahushua (Jesus). We have been disconnected from the Father Yahuweh by the sin in the garden. By confessing your sin to Yahushua and excepting Him as our Master, Savior, Risen Son of the Father, Yahuweh; by His blood we have been cleansed and reconciled to the Father Yahuweh. Romans 10:9-11; II Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Messiah(Christ), he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 18 And all things are of Elohim(God), who hath reconciled us to himself by Yahushua Messiah(Jesus Christ), and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;
- You are made new by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
- Developing Godly friendships; someone that knows Elohim(God), someone you can laugh with, pray with, trust to share secrets. The right kind of friends point you to Elohim. Lean upon Elohim, do not over draw on friends. A true friend knows your faults, weaknesses, frailties and will not exploit them. Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works; 25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Anchor yourselves with this: Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for Yahuweh(LORD) thy Elohim(God) is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Will you serve depression, dissolution, loneliness? Joshua 24:15
AS FOR ME AND MY HOUSE WE SHALL SERVE YAHUWEH
